For most people, their bathroom is the smallest room their house. But it’s also one of the most important.

After all, just about anybody who enters your house will need to use it at some point. So it has to suit just about everybody’s needs. Showering and bathing can cause mildew and soap scum to build up, and when water dries it can cause some mineral deposits as well.

Along with some decorating touches and accessorizing, a newly painted bathroom can feel brand new.

Bedrooms are a lot of fun, because they tend to be the most personalized room in anybody’s house.

Your kitchen, living room, and bathroom, for example, tend to have a similar stylistic motif to go along with them. But that’s not always true for bedrooms.

Take a look at a teenager’s room, for example. As they grow up, teenagers begin to assert their own identities and aesthetic tastes. And their choices of décor won’t usually match with the rest of their home.

But beyond that, the rest of your home needs to suit everybody’s needs. Your kitchen, your living room, your bathroom – these are all highly trafficked spaces. Everybody spends at least a bit of time in them.

And that’s just not true of the bedrooms in your home. Your bedrooms only need to fit the needs of the people who sleep in them – that’s it. In a way, this can be freeing. After all, the way you decorate your bedroom is geared toward your comfort, and no one else’s.
